Making calls and answering your phone while working on your PC can be pretty annoying, but Microsoft has changed that with the Your Phone app.

No, it’s not an April Fools joke. Several mobile phone manufacturers have foldable phones in the works, and it seems that Samsung will be the first to market. The Samsung Galaxy Fold foldable Android phone is said to be set to launch later this month.

Last week several “news” sites reported that Samsung Smart Televisions were always listening and sharing everything you say with a third-party. As recently as this morning, other services were repeating this allegation. This is because Samsung’s Smart TV privacy policy included, at the time, this statement: “Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party.”

Samsung has issued a massive recall of all Galaxy Note 7 phones that have batteries which have been found to catch fire and in some cases explode. The recall affects all countries in which Samsung has sold the Note 7 containing the defective battery, except China; the Galaxy 7s sold in China have a different battery.

Apple and Samsung are among the major smartphone makers to take the CTIA pledge to provide antitheft so-called “kill switches” – tools and mechanisms to allow an owner to disable, lock, and even delete the data off their devices, should their phone or other smart device be stolen or lost.

Samsung’s newly accounced Galaxy Gear Smartwatch, despite the “smart watch” name, which is clearly intended to make it sound in the same league as a smartphone, is not a phone at all. Rather you can think of it as a ‘dumb’ extension for your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet.

The verdict is in: Samsung must pay Apple $1.5 billion for smartphone patent infringement. The lawsuit, filed by Apple Inc. last year, accused Samsung of copying the design of iPhones and iPads. Jurors on Friday produced a 20-page verdict, agreeing with Apple’s assertion that Samsung’s smartphones copied the design of the Apple iPhone, in both design and features. Apple lawyers produced pictures of the Samsung smartphones both before and after the introduction of the iPhone.
