Countless thousands across the country are without service this Labor Day Weekend as the T-mobile 3G and Edge data network which services the G1 Android phone went down, and remains down as of the time of this writing.

The problem occurred sometime during Saturday night, and continues on into the afternoon of Sunday, September 6th.

“I’ve been unable to access the G1 Market all day,” complained one user.

We’ll be staying on top of this story for you, and reporting updates as they happen.

Update: It seems that the problem was intermittant, and (possibly) regional, and is now largely resolved.
