Many state agencies and other organizations have set up COVID-19 hotlines (both telephone hotlines and email hotlines, and in some cases TTY hotlines) to answer questions about the Coronavirus. Different states handle this in different ways: some states have a hotline featured right up front on their site (for example Utah), while others either hide the information, or don’t have a hotline at all (such as Connecticut). Where the state does not have a hotline, we try to provide an alternate resource, at very least.
Here is a list of all of the state Coronavirus hotlines in the United States as of the date of this writing. (Also, some Internet providers are removing data caps during the Coronacrisis.)
(Read our other Coronavirus related stories here)
As we mention above, some states have not set up such information hotlines for your questions about Coronavirus (COVID-19), and for those we still provide the links to the best information from agencies in that state that we can find. A very few states also provide a Coronavirus information TTY number, and where available we include those as well. Also, of course, the National CDC Coronavirus page is here.
For an explanation of what is considered an “older adult” for the Coronavirus, see here; for a discussion of ‘panic-shaming’ over the Coronavirus, see this article.

Your Maryland “hotline” is Carol County only. Not helpful. My daughter has been waiting for test results 7 days. Who can help her track this down
