When you have whatever you want to take a screenshot of on the screen, just press the power button and the home button at the same time:
Now there will be a screenshot of the screen in your images folder on your iPod Touch or iPhone. The next time you connect your device to your computer and open up iPhoto, the screenshot will magically be there in your device’s folder in iPhoto!
