Thousands of unhappy Paypal users hit the Internet Patrol today, most of them arriving at our Is Paypal Down? article, and leaving their mark in the form of dozens of frustrated comments, such as these below.

We note that when we were able to access Paypal, there was a new welcome page, touting the new Paypal Pay People to Do Stuff service, which gives us pause to wonder if the outage was due to their updating the site.

In any event, as people start becoming more and more frustrated and disenchanted with Paypal, they are seeking alternatives. We suggest these 3 easy alternatives to Paypal.

In the meantime, we have to wonder just how much email webmaster@paypal.com has received today.
