Many of you will remember that we reported on Alek Komarnitsky and his 17,000 Christmas lights which you can control with your web browser.

Well, if you enjoyed that (and if you haven’t yet checked it out, you really should), now you can influence not only Alek’s Christmas lights, but whether he will appear on any one of several national television shows, including Letterman, Oprah, and the Tonight Show.

MajorGeeks, and there can be no doubt that our [Page no longer available – we have linked to the archive.org version instead] is one, is supporting a bid to get Alek and his lights on at least one of these shows, and is hosting a write-in campaign to that end.

If you enjoyed [Page no longer available – we have linked to the archive.org version instead] lights, than repay the favour and help get him on the show of your choice. Then set your Tivo or Replay and enjoy Alek and his lights again and again.

You can participate in the write-in campaign by going here.
