Iconic online community Criagslist is down, as of today, December 23, 2012. While some may think that Craigslist itself was hacked, our research suggests that there is a DNS issue.
This can be caused by certain types of attacks, or by human or machine error.
What the above means is that at least some computers on the Internet cannot find their way to the domain craigslist.org because there is no DNS entry for craigslist.
Whether or not you can reach Craigslist may be location-dependent. Many people are saying that they are unable to reach Craigslist, but some others are still able to load the site.
The Internet Patrol is completely free, and we don't subject you to ads or annoying video pop-ups. But it does cost us out of our pocket to keep the site going (going on 20 years now!) So your tips via CashApp, Venmo, or Paypal are VERY appreciated! Receipts will come from ISIPP.
Bottom line: keep trying.
