Summary: Do you have a pink RAZR phone? A blue RAZR phone? Does the color of your RAZR phone really matter? And if you don't have one, get a free pink RAZR (or other color free RAZR) from Amazon!

Do you have a Pink RAZR phone? Or maybe a cosmic blue RAZR phone? Or maybe one of those hot magenta pink RAZR phones? Do any of you have plain old black? (Don’t have any of these? How about a free RAZR phone from Amazon?)

Ok, I confess, I don’t really get what the deal is about RAZR phones, let alone their colour. Yeah, they’re ultra thin. And yes, they have a lot of spiffy features. Ok, I’ll grant you all that. But never before have I seen the colour of a cell phone to be such a big deal.

How big a deal is it?

A big enough deal that press releases are released when a new RAZR colour is announced. Ok, new models of a phone - new features, sure - but a press release for a new colour for a cell phone? Hunh??

This week the release of the “cobalt blue” RAZR was announced, although it appears to be the same colour as the “cosmic blue” RAZR already available. But the point remains, it was a press release over a colour.

So, how important is colour to you in a cell phone? You RAZR owners out there - did colour play a deciding factor in your choice of cell phones? If so, why?

What color is your RAZR?

Of course, if you don’t have one, you can get one free (with new service) from Amazon, in which case what colour will your RAZR phone be?
