T-mobile Set to Roll out Unlimited Data Plan

T-Mobile USA is bending over backwards to keep their dwindling customer-base by offering a new unlimited data plan. The new plan will roll out in September and is hoped to rival their competitors, who have started putting a cap on data use. T-Mobile’s new plan will run users between $70-90 per month, depending on which smart phone you choose, and will allow unlimited voice, text and Internet usage.

Fake Verizon Wireless Scam Emails Hit the Internet

A rash of fake Verizon Wireless account notifications hit the Internet this week, showing outrageous charges that are, supposely, hitting your bill. They have the subject line of either “Thank You for your Verizon Wireless Payment” or “Your Bill Is Now Available”. Of course, the links take you to all sorts of spam and scam sites, so don’t be taken in. Verizon Wireless Customers Up in Arms Over New $2 Charge to Pay Your Verizon Bill – And How to Avoid It

If you have a Verizon mobile phone, and want to use a credit card or debit card to pay your Verizon phone bill over the phone with Verizon wireless customer service, or online through their online Verizon customer care portal, Verizon is going to charge you a $2.00 “convenience fee” for the privilege. The only way to pay your Verizon wireless bill with a credit or debit card and not get charged the $2.00 convenience fee is if you do it in person, such as at a Verizon store. (Note: This does not apply to autopayments, only to one-time payments. Autopayments do not incur the $2.00 convenience fee.)
