Amazon Opens Full-Scale Brick and Mortar Amazon 4-Star Store in Colorado, New York, with Berkeley on the Way
This week Amazon opened its second 4 Star by Amazon store (the first is in New York City) at the Park Meadows shopping center in Lone Tree, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. It’s interesting to note that Denver got its Amazon 4 Star store even before tony Berkeley, California, which is slated for the third 4 Star store in the near future. Man Thrown Off Southwest Plane for Tweeting that Gate Agent was Rude
A Southwest airlines (SWA) gate agent took exception to being called “the rudest gate agent”, and so flexed her tiny muscles by having a passenger and his children thrown off the flight for tweeting his displeasure, even after he had deleted the tweet, as gate agent Kimberly S. had demanded.
Geek Squad Now Available at Target
If you walk into a Target store and see someone from the Geek Squad hanging out, don’t worry, you didn’t inadvertently walk into Best Buy. Chances are you’ve walked into one of the Target locations that has their very own Geek Squad. A joint venture between Best Buy and Target, the new program will put Geek Squad agents in 29 Target stores, to start, with the first one wave concentrating heavily in the Denver, Colorado area.
