Internet security company LinkScanner.com has reported that Alicia Keys’ MySpace page has fallen victim to malware. When you visit the Alicia Keys page, say, to look at Alicia Keys pictures, the malware attempts to download malicious software onto your computer. Such malicious efforts such as this against MySpace’s page for Alicia Keys fall in line with similar attempts againt other musicians on MySpace.

Anthony Rich of Bradenton, Florida was himself no older than 17 when he met and dated his then girlfriend, who was 15. With only a two year difference, and with both teens being under 18, you might think that there was no problem. But then they broke up – and Anthony Rich – at age 17 – posted a nude picture of his 15 year old ex-girlfriend to her MySpace page. And now, two years later (and thus over the age of 18), Anthony Rich is facing 30 days in jail for child abuse and attempted child abuse.

Lawsuit Against MySpace Dismissed! Lawsuit by 14 Year Old Alleging Sexual Assault Against Pete Solis and MySpace Dead in the Water

The lawsuit against MySpace and MySpace user Pete Solis by a 14 year old girl has been dismissed by a Federal judge. The lawsuit, brought by the girl’s family, and followed by copycat lawsuits against MySpace by three other families, alleged that Pete Solis lied about his age in order to gain the girl’s confidence, and that Pete Solis than sexually assaulted the girl. Of course, the lawsuit failed to mention that the girl also lied about her age, or her profile would not have been publicly visible.

MySpace Sued by Four Families for Failing to Protect Their Children from Predators

Last June we reported that the family of a 14-year-old girl had filed a lawsuit against MySpace for failing to protect their daughter from Pete Solis, a 19 year old “predator”. Now this girl’s family, along with three others – and the same attorney – have filed cases against MySpace in Los Angeles, claiming in the lawsuit that MySpace had not done enough to protect their daughters from predators which they claim, MySpace knew were there.
