Comedy Central is the latest network to make some of their television series available for download through iTunes. Working with both Windows and Mac machines, viewable on both computer and video iPod, and at only $1.99 per show, it’s a heck of a deal in my opinion.
Comedy Central, believe it or not, has been around for fifteen years! Wow. I can remember when it first started, and was just a tiny curl in the ocean of channel surfing! But over the years they have grown to impressive proportions, propelled in part by such popular fare as South Park.
Expanding their strategy to include the Internet, Comedy Central recently announced a new Internet television station, Motherlode TV.
Now they intend to make a good part of their archives available through iTunes, as well as sometimes making new material available through iTunes even before it airs on the network!
Already, the first two seasons of South Park are up on iTunes, along with fourteen episodes of the show Drawn Together.
The Internet Patrol is completely free, and reader-supported. Your tips via CashApp, Venmo, or Paypal are appreciated! Receipts will come from ISIPP.
Now, if only they would start adding old MST3K (Mystery Science Theatre 3000) episodes to iTunes!
In the meantime, though, you South Park fans can start downloading South Park episodes to your computers and video iPods now.
And if you don’t have that video iPod yet, you can get a 30gig video iPod, with free shipping and no sales tax, at Amazon here.
