After once again checking the weather, the spelling of a word, and the date by hitting f12 on our Mac, we got to wondering - what did we ever do before widgets? What would we do without widgets? Whether it’s weather widgets, spelling widgets, or any other Apple widgets, Mac users just love their Mac widgets.

That got us to wondering what others consider their “can’t live without” widgets. Oh sure, you can go to the Apple site to look at their top 50 widgets downloaded - but that doesn’t really reveal what the really useful, must have every day widgets are. I mean, Hula Girl??

There are hundreds of free widgets for Mac users to try, but only a handful really make it to “must have on a desert island” status. So, fellow Mac users - tell us - if you could have only one - just one - widget on a desert island, which one would it be?
