For those who are constantly checking both Twitter, and Gmail, now you can have your cake and eat it too! Twitter Gadget is a Gmail gadget that allows you to both read and post to Twitter right from your Gmail interface! Having tested it, the Twitter Gmail gadget works really well! In fact, surprisingly well! You can follow your home stream, or just replies, and you can both post and reply from it. It’s very easy! In fact, the most difficult thing about the Twitter Gmail gadget is figuring out how to install it. So here are simple step-by-step instructions: 1. Log into your Gmail account. 2. Go to the Labs section. 3. Page down to near the very bottom and click ‘enable’ for “Add any gadget by URL” 4. You will now see a new tab in your Labs area, called “Gadgets” 5. Click on the Gadgets tab, and where it says “Add a gadget by its URL:” paste this URL: http://www.twittergadget.com/gadget_gmail.xml This is the URL for the Twitter Gadget. Like magic, the Twitter Gadget will now appear on your left sidebar. That’s all there is to it!
