This is Halloween time, when a young person’s fancy turns to pumpkin carving, and many parents turn to pumpkin carving patterns. But forget the pumpkin carving patterns - because I’ve found a site which gives you virtual pumpkin carving!

It’s really quite nifty - you use your mouse as the knife..and you can carve as many pumpkins as you like, free of charge, and free of mess. Better than free pumpkin carving patterns, it’s free pumpkin carving until you get it right!

Now, that’s as far as the site goes (and it’s far enough), but here is my two cents:

After you have your pumpkin design just right, take a screenshot of your masterpiece. Print it out, and either freehand copy it, or make your own free pumpkin carving pattern! Voila!

Here’s my masterpiece, what do you think?

Carve your own virtual pumpkin
