As some of her gentle readers know, Aunty is an Amazon affiliate. That means that from time to time Aunty gets a heads up on some great deals at Amazon which may be of interest to Aunty’s readers. Examples include the Replay TV for only $49.74 earlier this year, and McAfee Internet Security 2005 for free last month.

Now Aunty has an Amazon deal for the true computer geeks at heart - the Leatherman Micra model for only $18.99! That’s $10.00 off the regular price of $29.00!

According to one 5-star review of the Leatherman Micra, “Unlike other pocket multi tools, this is not a gadget. Each of the attachments on the Micra actually works and the thing is incredibly sturdy. I’ve owned mine for three years now and it’s as good as the day I bought it, with no warping or damage due to constant use. In particular, I frequently use the screw driver heads. I recently even used the blade when I was caught up a ladder and needed to strip some wires.”

Says Leatherman’s own description of the Micra, “Less than half the size of any other Leatherman tool, the Micra is easily carried in a pocket, on a key ring, or in a purse. Closing to 2-1/2 inches and weighing just 1.75 ounces, this is unlike any pocketknife or multipurpose tool you’ve seen. The Micra features scissors, clip-point knife, tweezers, nail file/cleaner, flat Phillips screwdriver, extra-small screwdriver, medium screwdriver, bottle opener, ruler, and lanyard attachment.”

You can see why Aunty wanted to let you know about this great tool!

So click here to take advantage of the special deal on the Leatherman Micra for only $18.99.

  2. No. It has a knife blade.

  3. no thanks on the “micra” tool, i’m still carrying the original standard leatherman tool with the “military” finish, even after years of use the knife blade is still razor sharp and the tool blade joints still tight. if you do need a smaller tool the “micra” should do well if its still up to the quality of the older model tools, like mine.
