The gist was: If a person is not totally monogamous they are within 2 steps, sexually speaking, from every other non-monogamous persn in Sweden. This was based on data that showed most non-monogamous people only had 1 or 2 partners but a very few had had in excess of 100 partners. Those, like Kevin Bacon, formed nodes through which all others were related.
