Anyone who has a Mac knows and loves Small Dog Electronics for their great products and prices.

But did you know that a Mac’s best friend is now a best friend to man’s best friend?

Small Dog Electronics now has an area of their website devoted entirely to “Dog Friends”, where one can post pictures of one’s own canine best friend. It’s really really cute.

Explains the Small Dog site, “In case you haven’t already noticed, we LOVE dogs! And from the large number of dogs here at “Dog Friends”, our customers do too! So to honor our 4-legged friends, we have created this special “Dog Friends” section.”

And your doggie best friend does not have to be a small dog. In fact I’m looking right now at a picture of two gorgeous German Shepherds.

According to the site, there are already nearly 3,000 pictures online, with more being added every day.

You can browse them by breed, name, or picture number.
But best of all, you don’t even have to browse them at all! Because Small Dog is now also offering Dog-matic! A widget which automatically displays on your desktop a random picture of one of the Small Dog Friends! Clicking on the dog’s name will open a window with more information about the dog, and clicking on the picture will cause it to change to another picture of another dog friend.

Too cute!

The Small Dog’s Dog Friend site is here, and you can download Dog-matic here.
