Wondering about the perfect gift for the iPodite in your life? Well, look no further.

How about their own personal iPod ad - you know, those trendy dark silhouettes on a vibrant background, with a standout white iPod and headset prominently featured?

Well, that’s just what IPodMyPhoto.com will give you, and at only $19.95, such a deal!

The way it works is that you fill out a simple form on their website - and by “simple” Aunty does mean ’simple’…only four blanks to fill in, and two of them are your first and last name, and three click actions to check, one being to upload your picture (jpegs only, please, and under 1meg) - and you’re on your way to the payment screen and your own starring or supporting role in an iPod ad. (Well, technically Aunty supposes it is an “iPod-style ad”, or perhaps an “iPod ad-style photo”, but who wants to get technical about something as cool as this?)

Unfortunately, the turn-around can be as much as a week, and they don’t do expedited orders, so you can’t order one as a last minute Christmas gift, although it might be a nice way to ring in the new year.

In addition to offering a novel service to a brand-happy niche market, the good folks at IPodMyPhoto seem to have a sense of humour, as witnessed in this snippet from their FAQ:

Can I put curse words in the text on the image?
If the only way you can be funny or creative is by using swear words, go ahead. ipodmyphoto.com wants to let you know, it’s time to grow up, ok?

IPodMyPhoto.com is quick to note that they are not affiliated with iPod manufacturer Apple in any way. Let’s hope that Apple has a similarly good sense of humour about the offering, as it deserves a good long run.

You can look at their great samples, and order your own “iPoddified” photo, at http://www.ipodmyphoto.com/
