(PRWEB) May 20, 2005 — As summer approaches, Americans start their annual dreaming of faraway places and begin solidifying their vacation plans. More Americans will vacation in the coming months than at any point since 2001, and, according to the Travel Industry Association, the price of just about everything is on the rise. People are scraping their money together and searching frantically for deals, but bargains will be scarce this summer. More and more people are turning to the internet to look for ways to save money on travel.

“The internet is completely revolutionizing the travel industry and is forever changing the way that people make travel plans, says Andrew Rothberg, travel expert and CEO of How2 Group International. “There are bargains to be found online, but unfortunately, there are lots of misconceptions about travel websites. People often assume they are getting a good deal online when they really aren’t.

Many people turn to one of the big travel websites like Expedia and Travelocity and are frustrated when they find out that their frequent flyer miles won’t apply. In addition, consumers encounter poor customer service and are denied the chance to talk directly to the actual airlines, hotels, and other travel sources. People are throwing their hands up and looking for new places to turn for big savings on travel.

Being dissatisfied with the state of online travel services, Rothberg decided to funnel his online expertise into the development of the first-all inclusive travel website (how2vacation). While people have been booking airlines online for years, it is finally possible for people to book entire vacations online, including cruises, hotel accommodations, transportation, packages, shows, tours, and dining. “As the internet’s first comprehensive vacation site, I really think that people are going to find some great vacation steals there, says Rothberg.

Rothberg’s plans for the internet have just begun to unfold. By using an advertising model that he hopes will change the way that people make internet travel plans, he simultaneously seeks to revolutionize the way online business is conducted. The success of how2vacation has already spawned two new already up and running websites, how2buyflowers and how2match. Many additional sites, like how2outlet and how2mortgage are set to launch in the near future. Starting with the travel industry, Rothberg hopes to bring his vision for easy internet commerce to everyone.
