How many ways do we need to communicate with people? In my current job of running a good sized organization, I have at least 5 ways to let people know what is going on at any given time. This does not include whatever personal software or device I and a few others may have.

I think this is simply "yet another way" and will ultimately die. Then, out of the ashes will rise more ways to do the same thing.

I see a backlash in gadget must haves coming, if not already here. Being tied to so many communication devices is fast becoming a sorry way to live one's life.

I'll pass on Twitter, thanks.
