And don’t assume that because this is such a ‘gadgety” gadget, that it’s an inferior phone! LG is a well-known and well-respected manufacturer of cell phones. In addition to the touch screen (the only input method for the device), this baby features 3G, voice recognition, a text-to-speech feature, and an integrated camera that allows you to do video phoning right from your wrist!

Now the downside - at least for now, the watch is only being sold through Orange, in the UK. That said, there are online retailers taking pre-orders. One such place is here.

  1. The LG is a true ripoff, selling at an outrageous price. Likewise, its other Korean counterparts - the Hyundai and the Samsung - are far more expensive than the original Chinese models which are now selling at very reasonable prices. I’ve recently bought one of their models - the “Jaguar” - and it is a quality product, very well built and works just fine. It even has more memory than the Hyundai and can take two SIM cards!
