A whole lot of people are getting the latest spam scam that supposedly is sent from the “AOL Administration Center” (there is no such thing, folks). Coming from the spoofed email address “AOLCenter at message.aol dot com”, the email tells you that “you have 1 notification”, and includes a link to click to see the “notification”.
That link really goes to the aptly named http://unifiedmed.com/jerks.html, which in turn forwards to viagralevitratestosterone.com, and we don’t need to tell you what they are selling there! It is, in fact, classic Canadian pharmacy spam.
Here is the full text of the bogus email:
Subject: AOL Administration Center Notification #53496
From: AOL Administration Center (R) AOLCenter at message.aol dot com
reply-to “AOL Administration Center (R)”Hi,
