McAfee Foundstone Security Expert to Host Webcast to Help Organizations Improve Their Government Scorecard Rankings

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — WHAT: Earl Crane, senior consultant with Foundstone Professional
Services, a division of McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE), and Lawrence
Konefal, director of strategic programs at McAfee, will present on
the topic “Making the Grade: The Road to a Better Government
Scorecard” as part of a webcast designed to help organizations
better understand strategies to help achieve compliance with the
Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) regulations.

FISMA was signed in 2002 and made permanent much of the framework
contained in the Government Information Security Reform Act of
2000 (GISRA). FISMA goes beyond GISRA and other legislation to
address key issues such as accountability and annual testing and
evaluation of security controls. During this webcast, attendees
will gain the knowledge to better understand techniques to achieve
compliance.
