Ok, as 419 spam goes, this one has a couple of new twists. First, it contains no html or graphics. It’s a straight text letter. Second, it is not from a deposed monarch, nor from a dead dictator’s widow. Rather, it appears to be from a Dubai businessman, who is writing from his deathbed in a Dubai hospital, and who wants to donate all of his money to charity. And he needs your help. Did you get this letter? Don’t be taken in by it! Here’s the letter: Dear friend This letter may come to you as a surprise due to the fact that we have not yet met. I have to say that I have no intentions of causing you any pains. As you read this, I don’t want you to feel sorry for me, because, I believe everyone will die someday. My name is Larry Moore, a merchant in Dubai, in the U.A.E. I have been diagnosed with prostate and oesophageal cancer that was discovered very late due to my laxity in caring for my health. It has defied all forms of medicine and right now, I have only about a few months to live according to medical experts. I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I never really cared for anyone not even myself but my business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was always hostile to people and only focus on my business as that was the only thing I cared for. But now I regret all this as I now know that there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all the money in the world. I believe when God gives me a second chance to come to this world I would live my life a different way from how I have lived it. Now that I know my time is near, I have willed and given most of my properties and assets to my immediate and extended family members and as well as a few close friends. I have decided to give alms to charity organizations, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some charity organizations in the U.A.E, London and Ireland. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this my self any more. I once asked members of my family to close one of my accounts and donate the money, which I have there to charity organizations in Bulgaria, they refused and kept the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contented with what I have left for them. The last of my money which is the huge cash deposit that I have with a security firm abroad .I will want you to help me collect this deposit and dispatch it to charity organizations. I am writing this from my laptop computer in my hospital bed where I wait for my time to come. I pray that God uses you to support and assist me with good heart. Larry Moore. —

Alhamd-o-Lillah (God be praised) I am a Muslim and giving statement herewith in presence of ALLAH that it is true. Sir I was working in Islamabad and there was my own business. ALLAH is very much kind and merciful and I was living very happy life. But turn of time now a days I am reduced to abject poverty. My all business has been ruined and I am indebted to 25 LAKH Pak Rupees. From last two years I am facing very crucial time. Now a days the demands of creditors and hopelessness make me to think about suicide. At this time I am living with expectations that this time will go away and ALLAH will help me but how much time more? Now I am a famished person. In this world no one is criminal by birth but circumstances and unbearable time make him criminal. I don’t like to be a robber or smuggler and nor want to commit suicide.
My business was in very good position but different type of diseases came in home as befalling of calamity. During that time I was unable to attend my office and look after to my business. Along with it expenditures of hospitals, rent of home, office and salaries of employers became burden and I became indebted day by day. My son tried to look after my business but in vain. When I came back to my office I was to be deprived of every thing. I made efforts for the settlement of circumstances by borrowing money at interest but fortune was not with me and I become more indebted person.
I presented these awful facts in front of my Muslim brothers and in the month of Ramzan I affix my this statement on the maim gates of 50 mosques of Islamabad. But God is my witness that nor one Muslim brother disquietude endure to make any contact with me. Now I am in this position that I sell out all things of my home and escaping from the creditors.
Now with great hope with the help of you I am trying to knock upon the doors of all my Muslim brothers and rulers, politicians who come in politics with the passion of peoples help and consider to politics as adoration and say that their doors are open day and night for any one. I also call to religious scholars that one of their Muslim brother is thinking about suicide.
I spent 56 years of my life with great respect and dignity and want to live my remaining life with same respect and dignity. I don’t like to be a slain and nor murderer in my self defense and nor like to be a robber or smuggler.
At this time when I am passing last time of my life this unexpected trouble fall upon me. My life is full of tension and depression and am depending upon tranquillizers. I am in a distressed condition and at this time of contraint and destitution along with praying to ALLAH I need patronage of ALLAH’S benevolent persons.
I awfully requesting to you that please my this woeful request send to your companions, followers, friend and to other peoples. Tell them that one of their Muslim brother is in very crucial time and seeking help. I am not demanding money in cash nor want to send it in my account. Please contact me on the following Phone No’s or on my email and pay directly to my creditors they are threatening me. I am not a egger but a miserable person.
At this time I am waiting for an yaldram of light that some one will help to this oppressed person. ALLAH will recompense to you peoples. INSHAALLAH.

God is the only one who decideds who dies and who lives and i hope you live much longer and get better. My dad has also got skin cancer and am still student so i cant afford sending him money. he lives in africa and i came to england to stydy and have good job to look after him as my mum died when i were 10 years old. I whave lost her and im not ready to lose him as well. It wont only be the crying of his death but i will feel guilty for not being able to help him which i got to live with for the rest of my life. Please, help me if you can i need it to try and keep my loved one a live with me and not be lonely.

respected sir,
it is submitted thst my daughter named MAHEEN FATIAM age of one year has loss of hearing in both ears and i have checked her from DR IRFAN AHMED (MBBS.MSC consultant audiologist /audiologicial physician) has strongely recimmended for cochler implant surgery for both ears but heavy amount will be requried for subject surgery,
sir i m very poor person i am a working labour man my monthy income is RS.6000/per month sir my family consists of six member and i cannot affored a heavy expenditure due to low income and surgery is very essential for restoration of her proper hearing
So i am writing to you in a hope that you will help me in the name of GOD.
