Call us crazy, but here's our theory about the week-long Sidekick data outage experienced by Sidekick users as their Sidekick network (really the Danger network) went down. At last, Research in Motion seems to have seen the light, and has gone back to the bargaining table, and settled the multi-million dollar lawsuit against them. But you'd still be better off with a Sidekick, in my opinion. As millions ponder a life without the RIM Blackberry device, they wonder "is there an alternative to the Blackberry? Is there a replacement for the Blackberry?" The answer is a resounding "yes!" Blackberry maker Research in Motion, also known as RIM, has suffered another blow in the patent infringement lawsuit brought by patent-holder NTP. As the walls close in on RIM, an injunction may be imminent. The RIM Blackberry law suit with NTP has been in the news a lot lately.
