Sprint PCS(SM) Wi-Fi Access at Houston Hobby Airport helps travelers
‘get unplugged’ and make the most of time in the airport

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., and HOUSTON, May 24 /PRNewswire/ — Passengers flying
through Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport now have a more
productive way to spend their time. Today, the Houston Airport System (HAS)
and Sprint (NYSE: FON) announced the availability of Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access
at Bush. The high-speed wireless technology will enable busy travelers to
conduct business that they normally could only conduct at the office or at a
facility where they could plug their computer into a jack.

With the Wi-Fi service already available at William P. Hobby Airport,
travelers at both of Houston’s major airports can use the new high-speed
wireless service throughout each facility, including gate areas, restaurants,
ticketing and baggage claim at speeds up to 100 times faster than standard
dialup. Combined, Bush Intercontinental and Hobby airports serve more than
44 million passengers annually.

“With the growing availability of Sprint connectivity options, business
travel does not need to involve communications downtime,” explained Wes
Dittmer, general manager - WLAN Services, Sprint. “Wait time before or between
flights is no longer wasted time in terms of lost productivity or missed
opportunity. Business customers want technology solutions that increase
productivity, reduce costs and create a competitive advantage for their mobile
workforce. Sprint is addressing these needs by delivering superior data
solutions and will continue to do so as we provide EV-DO service later this
year.”

“This service will provide travelers a convenient way to update their
laptop communications without having to seek out a special Internet
connection,” said Bob White, Bush Intercontinental Airport Manager. “There is
now an expectation, especially by those with Wi-Fi laptop capabilities, to
have Internet access in airports.”

Customers will need a Wi-Fi card or mobile device embedded with Wi-Fi
technology in order to take advantage of the service. Users are greeted by the
Bush Intercontinental portal page that provides a host of free information,
including real-time flight information.

Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access has two available billing options: Pay-As-You-Go
access is $9.95 per connection per location for 24 hours of unlimited access,
and a Month-to-Month plan offers unlimited access for $49.95 per month. For
complete information including a list of Wi-Fi ZONES(TM) compatible with
Sprint service, visit http://www.sprint.com/wifi .

Sprint customers have the choice of using Sprint PCS Vision(SM) data
services to be connected while mobile via the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network or
Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access when they are in key public venues for any length of
time and need higher data speeds. Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access uses 802.11g
technology to provide a desktop environment in airports, hotels, convention
centers and other public venues with remote Internet access, email and
corporate applications at multimegabit speeds on their mobile devices.
