John likes to sound sanctimonious, but when presenting yourself in that fashion, you should always correct spelling mistakes, i.e. illegal is not spelled like Beagle.

"We have to try to educate our parents on what their kids are putting out there. Predators are a concern because people would know so much about them."

I like how he tried to make it look like he was protecting the kids from predators. Because someone is definately going to find your house from you drinking in those pictures. Then he's going to come to your house and rape you. So let's keep the kids that were drinking in those pictures not at school, but at home where the predators know where they so they can get raped.

There is no privacy issue here! The pictures were posted on a public access web site! As for whether or not the school should suspend the students; if the school has a policy in place then it is valid. You should be looking at school policy. IMHO, I wouldn't want my children going to other children that were involved in drinking parties. And last but not least, if the parents don't like results of the actions of thier children then teach your children not to do such stupid and illeagle things as drink while they are under age!

Since this didn't happen on school grounds or at a school function the school has no grounds for the suspensions, they have no jurisdition over what happens off campus. Now if the students are invovled in some school extracurricular activities such as sports, band and the like then they could be subject to code of conduct rules but that varies from school to school.

The last line on the High School Students busted for drinking piece was, "So, kids, remember: Don’t Drink and Blog." Better it should have read, "So, kids, remember: Don’t Drink."
