Aunty has had so many people ask about how they can do their own podcasts, especially if they don’t want to set up their own website, or invest in their own audio equipment, that Aunty has set up a special service and site just for her dear readers who want to say it loud, say it proud, without the hassle of setting up their own podcasts! Yes, that’s right! You, Aunty’s dear readers, can start podcasting right now! Yes, this very minute! In fact, you can have your very own podcast up and running within moments of reading this! It’s all done through the magic of Aunty Spam’s Guest Ranters! Here’s how it works (you’ll also find these instructions right at http://www.GuestRanters.com): Before you get started, think about whether you want to use your real name, or a “podcast name” (an alias or psuedonym) for your podcasts. You can create your own guest rants one of two easy ways: 1. The easiest way is to call the Guest Rants telephone podcast generator at 415-856-0205. At the prompt enter the telephone number 111-222-3333, and the pin number 4444. Be sure to enter these numbers slowly and clearly. After you enter the pin number you will be prompted to record your podcast. You have four minutes of recording time for each telephone generated podcast. Once you have created your podcast using either step one or two above, send email to Podcasts at Aunty Spam telling us your real name, your podcasting name if you have one, and that you have just created a podcast. Tell us the title you would like for this podcast. If you created the podcast by method #2, recording your own, be sure to include the podcast file! The URL you can give your friends, put on your blog, etc., is http://www.guestranters.com! That’s it! Welcome to the world of podcasting! Kissy kissy, Aunty Spam
2. Record your own podcast on your own system. Be sure to record it as an MP3!
That’s it! Your podcast will be up and available shortly!
