Free of Pop-Up Ads, myEarthLink Gives Internet Users Access to Customizable
Content Online At No Charge

ATLANTA, May 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Building on the success of its
Personal Start Page(SM), EarthLink (Nasdaq: ELNK), the nation’s next
generation Internet service provider (ISP), today announced that its free,
customizable gateway to the Internet — the myEarthLink start page
(my.earthlink.net) — is available for non-EarthLink subscribers.

In 1997, EarthLink began providing subscribers with a content-rich,
easily-navigable and interactive launch point to the Internet via the Personal
Start Page. Now, non-EarthLink subscribers who want to access the information
on their home pages without online aggravations like pop-up ads have a simple,
one-stop-shop for personalized news, entertainment, sports, stock quotes and
other content with added enhancements for customization.

“EarthLink believes that the power of the Internet resides in each
consumer’s ability to define and create a personal online experience, which is
why we created myEarthLink,” said Tom Andrus, vice president of business
development, EarthLink. “Customization is the key to creating an
individualized gateway to the Internet, and myEarthLink has the tools,
services and content to fit each of our own styles and tastes.”

myEarthLink will continue to give EarthLink subscribers access to the
ISP’s most popular Web properties, including Web Mail, Support Center and My
Account. In addition, EarthLink’s subscribers and non-subscribers will find an
easy interface that makes the Internet less complex and more manageable.
myEarthLink users can customize their start page with features like:
* An advanced search engine powered by Google(TM) and enhanced with
shopping results from Amazon and Shopping.com
* My eBay(R) which allows users to monitor and access their eBay
activities
* My Favorite Theatres which displays available theatres, show times and
movie reviews for any title
* Internet Security Alerts powered by Symantec(TM) which displays the
latest virus threats and provides the tools to run a free security scan
* Personal reminders so users will never miss another birthday or
anniversary
* Other tools like job search, music, horoscopes, travel and an online
bookstore
