A new free service on the web allows you to easily create ebooks to take along on your iPod! You can take pretty much any text, upload it or provide a link to it, press a button, and voila! You get an ebook which is iPod-readable!

The new service, is offered by iPod-Notes.com, who explains “Did you know you can store notes to read on your iPod? They’re very readable, but cumbersome to create. So we created this web page to make it super-simple.”

And super simple it is!

In fact, we are testing out the service here on the Internet Patrol, in partnership with iPod-Notes.com! So you will start seeing links to an iPod-readable version of our articles at the bottom of some the articles. If we see that enough people downloading and using them, we may even make them available site-wide for all articles!

And you can make your own iPod readable ebook at Ipod-Notes.com
