Alert Spy is a total waste of time. I would avoid this program and find a better solution.

Do not try in anyway SpyZooka, as after it scans, there is no way that the user can remove what has been detected. Even after countless days of customer support assistance.

I have installed SPAMCATCHER times as a getway solution, unfortunately I ended in many RBLs because it opened an open relay as a method for relaying my email.

Before you dare purchase or install Webroot Spy Sweeper, read the following unbiased consumer experiences with the product:
http://www.castlecops.com/f163-Spysweeper.html

I purchased it over a year ago and have suffered through many versions. I will not renew. Webroot continues to pimp ($$$) Spy Sweeper all over the net. Beware. CilyPudi said better to just pour glue into your registry. Read the link.

I wonder why I never hear about one of the best anti-spyware programs I have ever found. It is called BOClean4.22 by www.nsclean.com I have used this program in conjunction with my other anti-virus program since 1999 and found it to be extraordinary. I have received coverage against a total of 20410 UNIQUE infectors (234,254 variants of these including trojans, worms, bots, hijackers, downloaders, spam proxies, rootkits, adware, spyware, keyloggers, "dialers" and other malware in total) covered by BOClean 4.22. If your interested in protection, you should give this program a try. I am a user and I am not paid in any way for this commentary.
