Dear Gentle Readers,

Aunty has recently learned of a new email product which shows great promise, and you, dear Aunty Spam readers, are among the first to hear about it, and Aunty is thrilled to tell you that you can use it for free for your personal, individual email!

It’s called Universal Secure Email, by Kinar, and the way that it works is this:

You, the sender, download a small add-on from the Kinar site. It works with any email system, and even integrates into Outlook and Outlook Express.

When you send email to someone it contains a personal identification key unique to you, and on the way to the recipient it notes who the recipient is, and upon receipt their unique personal identification key is required for them to read it. So they know that it is really you who sent it, and you know that it is really them who has received and read it. If they don’t already have their own unique pass key, then the email will display a URL for them to click (they only have to do it once, ever) and they will get their own unique personal identification, also free for them.

It’s a nifty technology, with lots of cool applications.

According to the Kinar site, the free individual program allows you to “send an unlimited number of secure encrypted emails to up to 10 users” and “receive unlimited number of secure encrypted and restricted emails.”

So check it out; tell them that Aunty sent you, and remember that you heard it here first!

You can read more about it at Kinar, and download it here (select “Kinar KeepSafe FreeMail”).

Kissy kissy,

Aunty
