"AOL users should log into their accounts and from there should be able to find a link to an announcement of the new software, along with download instructions."

But what if it's AOL that's putting that spyware on your machine. I've been getting a lot from them lately and i'm fed up with it, i will not be purchasing extra 'stuff' from them i'd rather leave. I've noticed an awful lot lately and i don't like it one little bit.

I, personally, have been using AOL for years. I have a Cable Modem Broadband connection at home and haven't used AOL's dialup in years. Every time they offer an upgrade I download & install it. Whenever I get to a dialogue box that asks if I want to perform a Typical or Custom installation I always choose Custom. The last few upgrades have given the user a choice to, what they state, install "AOL only". I want to know why if it says "AOL only" then why is the AOL Toolbar installed within my Internet Explorer, why is my IE Home page changed to WWW.AOL.COM, why is an AOL Screensaver installed on my PC, and finally, why is there an AOL Coach version also installed on my machine (In fact 2 AOL Coach versions 1.0 & 2.0
